1. How much notice do you need to give to order a cake ?
We recommend 2 weeks notice to order a cake. If it is a wedding cake or a cake with special requirements then sometimes we will need to order in supplies that could take up to a month to come. However we are happy to take last minute cake orders depending on the size, design and availability.
2. Do you deliver?
We offer delivery for wedding cakes, or large tiered cakes for a fee depending on the area of delivery. Our standard delivery fee is $35+ for 20km from Perth CBD. For wedding cake delivery and set up starts from $65 depending on location.
3. Can I taste the cake before I order?
We offer tasting boxes for $30 that consist of 6 flavours of your choice.
4. Can my florist do the flowers on my cake?
Yes, as some companies can provide discount packages with florals included. However, we take great pride in our creations and the florals are often the finishing touches to the design so we do prefer to insert them ourselves.
Please note: Florals need to be wrapped in floristry tape appropriately before being inserted into the cake to keep them food safe.
5. How do I go about paying?
To confirm your order a deposit of 1/4 of the total price should be made. The remainder cost of the order must be made at least one week before the date of the event.
DEPOSITS – Deposits are non-refundable. You may have a credit for your deposit should you need to change the date however you must give one weeks notice.
6. Can I freeze my leftover cake?
Your cake is baked fresh for your event therefore leftovers can be frozen for up to a month in an air tight container to avoid becoming freezer burnt.
7. How do I transport the cake?
If you choose to collect the cake from my address, the cake will come in a tall box which can fit nicely on the floor of the front passenger side of your vehicle with the aircon on a low temperature setting. Your cake will be refrigerated before collection so it will be stable enough to endure a short car ride. For hot days or long distance trips, I transport cakes in a cooler box with ice packs. Please drive carefully, take turns with ease and brake cautiously when transporting your cake.
8. Are you an allergen friendly kitchen?
We do offer allergen friendly cakes, however the kitchen does contain nuts, animal products and gluten. Therefore we can not completely guarantee that the product does not contain traces of allergens.
